Swiss-based Lebanese jeweler, Mouawad, is celebrating 125 years in the business crafting and acquiring some of the biggest and rarest diamonds in the jewelry scene. After all, not many companies can attest to clinching a Guinness World Record for the most valuable necklace – an internally flawless deep yellow diamond weighing 407.48 carats, suspended on an 18K rose gold necklace with 228.52 carats of diamonds.
While the anniversary pieces are not as lavish, they still reflect Mouawad’s knack for flamboyance. The signature 18K white gold Flower of Eternity necklaces with their petal-like pendants are given an Andy Warhol treatment, thanks to the poppy-colored gemstones like tsavorites and sapphires that are set in an ombre effect. They are timeless pieces you would wear day in and day out.
