While I have followed WTF for quite some time, and generally enjoyed the articles and style advice, I have to say that I am particularly disappointed with the work displayed in the THUMB'D section of the site.
The photos are amateurish, VERY poorly edited, and in general don't highlight any of the relevant trends in our vibrant city. I feel like this these images are a half baked attempt at recreating the amazing work of such epic fashion bloggers as the Satorialist or the work of NYTimes photographer Bill Cunningham.
Besides completely missing the mark in overall aesthetics and composition, the egregious use of some sort of filter to blur out the background makes the majority of the photos in this serious almost unviewable.
For a site with such an overall well polished look and cohesiveness, I'm surprised that these images made it past cutting room floor.
