Liechtenstein based Lomme presents a new sleeping experience designed to focus on inducing quality sleep, the Lomme Bed.
This egg-shaped bed combines simple, minimalist design with sophisticated, cutting-edge technology to create a protected, relaxing space ideal for rest and rejuvenation.
A combination of light, sound and massage therapy is used to engage the senses and create the perfect conditions for quality sleep. Light color therapy, known to enhance the body’s energy centers and stimulate the healing process, also affects our physical, mental and emotional states.
The Lomme Bed capitalizes on this, incorporating a light therapy clock in their system, where the gradual fading light of a sunset will lull you to sleep, and the light of a virtual rising sun rouses you from your slumber.
The design of the Lomme Bed forms a protective cocoon that minimizes external noise, with iPods invisibly installed for the sleeper to enjoy his or her choice of accompanying music.
An in-built massage system with a variety of settings serves to deepen relaxation and improve sleep quality, while a system that blocks harmful electromagnetic waves and radiation is integrated into the shell, all for a price of 42,000 euros.
