Roger Vivier has debuted its Spring/Summer 2011 collection, titled ‘Le Sud’ after the regions which inspired it: the South of France, North Africa and Italian Riviera.

Overseen by artistic director Bruno Frisoni, the collection is fresh and zesty, saturated with blocks of primary colors.

Leather appears frequently alongside blue and deep ultramarine, while patent leather comes in chilli red.

Canvas is finished in black and white stripes, a design cue inspired by the falling of light and shade behind a set of blinds.

The color palette also makes references to the heat through its earthy hues which are gently faded, warmed by tones of cinnamon, rosewood, nutmeg and suede.

The classic Miss Viv’ and Metro bags maintain their classic R.V. lines but have been revisited with a new twist.
