Jewelry collectors, mark your calendars: fine jewelry makers La Putri will be hosting a worskhop with famed gemologist Christian Dunaigre at their Singapore boutique on June 1 – 2.
Here’s a quick run-through Dunaigre’s impressive credentials: as one of the the world’s preeminent authorities on coloured gemstones, diamonds and pearls, Christian Dunaigre joined the renowned Gübelin Gem Laboratory in Switzerland in 1997, before founding C. Dunaigre Consulting in 2008, an independent Swiss gemological laboratory offering the highest level of gemstone certification to the gemstone and jewellery trade.
La Putri’s collaboration with Dunaigre is a natural fit, for many of the brand’s gems would have been examined by the man – and now, jewelry fanciers can catch the expert in action on the first two days of June, when La Putri hosts Christian Dunaigre’s visit to Singapore.
You’ll get an intimate glimpse into the secretive, rarefied world of gemological analysis: best of all, you’re invited to bring your private jewelry collection for a complimentary review by Dunaigre. Formal laboratory certification services will also be offered for a fee.
