Cristiana Capotondi at the Venice Film Festival wearing the Jaeger-LeCoultre 101 Etrier
With the Venice Film Festival in full swing, Jaeger-LeCoultre will host an exclusive party in honor of the project, Reverso for Emergency, Jaeger-LeCoultre Helps the Salam Centre.
The star of the event, a specially created watch dubbed the Reverso for Emergency, is a Grande Reverso Ulta Thin, available in a men’s and ladies’ version, and will feature the lacquered Salam Centre symbol, a red heart, on its cover.
With the support of stars such as longtime friends Diane Kruger and Cristiana Capotondi, the Swiss fine watchmaker will finance ten operations for adult and child cardiac patients at the Salam Centre for Cardiac Surgery, opened by Emergency NGO in Khartoum, Sudan.
The Salam Centre treats children and adults suffering from heart disease and has been providing highly specialised care for these patients, who would otherwise have no access to free surgical treatment.
