With military-inspired colour palettes, samurai-shaped dresses, animal-print skirts, and lots of cropped and oversized leather trophy jackets, Balmain‘s Fall/Winter 2014 Collection at Paris Fashion Week was full of tribal influences infused with hip-hop accents and rich fabrics.
The edgy Balmain women looked Amazonian-chic in dresses and skirts made of intertwined rope, chains and bamboo, embodying the ferocity of the wild but with extra sophistication and affluent appeal of the new urban woman.
There were many exquisite peplum variations paired with leather cargo pants and opaque leggings, as well as its bamboo-heeled stilettos etched with intricate patterns, bringing safari-chic to new heights.
