It’s finally open! Last Friday, Van Cleef & Arpels welcomed a stellar cast of VIPS, celebs and friends to its glittering new Hong Kong Maison – remarkable for also being the first in Asia after the fine jeweler’s Paris and New York locations.
A full night of festivities was set in motion to mark the momentous reveal, beginning with a glitzy ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Maison itself at Prince’s Building, 10 Chater Road, Central.
Witnessing the ceremony were Van Cleef & Arpels President & CEO, Stanislas de Quercize; Van Cleef & Arpels Vice President & Worldwide Creative Director Nicolas Bos; Van Cleef & Arpels President, Asia Pacific, Benjamin Vuchot; and a host of the finest international and Hong Kong stars: Cate Blanchett, Asian legend Jospehine Siao Fong Fong, Deanie Ip, Michelle Yeoh and Nansun Shi.
The evening progessed with guests of the House being ushered to the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong, where Van Cleef & Arpels had taken over the entire 25th floor of the hotel for an exclusive gala dinner, becoming the first company to do so. The thematic menu for this dinner was specially crafted by 3-star Michelin chef, Pierre Gagnaire, for a select group of VIP guests.
After dinner, the party moved on to the top of Prince’s Building at SEVVA, where guests mingled under the night sky to the soulful strains of a stirring performance by Lisa Stansfield.
