Two of the finest chefs in world cooking, including the most decorated chef in history, Joël Robuchon (above) will be opening restaurants at the newly opened Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore.
In 1990 Joël Robuchon became the first and only chef to be titled ‘Chef of the Century’ by the Gault Millau and is a legendary figure in the world of cooking. He currently lays claim to 20 dining establishments in Hong Kong, Las Vegas, Macao, Monaco, New York, Paris and Tokyo, which have accumulated 25 Michelin-stars between them.
He will be opening three outlets in May 2010: La Table de Joël Robuchon, L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon and The Pastry Shop & Lounge, all at Resorts World Sentosa’s FestiveWalk waterfront.
Meanwhile, Kunio Tokuoka (above) the chef and owner of Kyoto Kitcho Arashiyama and Hana Kitcho Kyoto, Japan, will also be offering his gastronomic fireworks at the new resort.
He is a four-Michelin starred chef who has championed and excelled at cooking haute Kaiseki cuisine. He will open Kunio in the first half of 2010, within Resorts World Sentosa’s all-suite hotel, Crockfords Tower.
Other notable restaurateurs opening establishments include Susur Lee, the chef of Madeline’s and various other restaurants in North America; and Scott Webster (above) the celebrity chef behind Australian Culinary Consultants (ACC).
