Last week Naomi Campbell unveiled the Louis Vuitton World Cup trophy carry case, shortly before it was flown to Johannesburg for the impending tournament.
Complete with the replica of the trophy (the original being the permanent property of FIFA) the supermodel handled the object with gloves as tradition stipulates that only winners can touch it themselves.
Previously transported with an aluminium case, FIFA approached Louis Vuitton to design a case that befitted the biggest trophy in football and possibly the world of sport.
Hand-made over a period of 100 hours, it features the LV monogram and the characterstic locks invented by Georges Vuitton, the son of Louis.
