Bound to wow the most nit-pickety of chefs, renowned German home appliance manufacturer Miele unveiled their most luxurious range of products to date, the Alchemie Aurum and Alchemie Argentum, in Hong Kong on August 9. Dessert chef Janice Wong (of 2am:dessertbar in Singapore) soared into the newly opened Private Lounge by Miele for the launch, where she whipped up a myriad of refined delicacies using the bespoke series of kitchen appliances.
Unparalleled in design and quality, the new collection features a gold (Aurum) or silver (Argentum) solid high gloss finish and is equipped with an oven, coffee machine, steam oven, stove, combination microwave oven, food warmer and décor hood. The machine fronts are case-hardened and sealed to withstand the rough and tumble of kitchen life, while the sleek appliances are highlighted with the use of precious metals against chrome and aluminium.
Head of Marketing and Brand Miele Hong Kong Carmen Ho said: “Miele is a world leader in the production of stylish, premium and high-performance domestic and commercial appliances. From compact combination oven, steam oven to coffee machine, the modern collections are based on the award-winning Generation 5000 Family and are completed with silver finishes. The design and production of this series costing 20% more, further underlines the aura of value”.
The Aurum and Argentum are made to order within 3 months and are available until the end of 2011.
