Chinese fine glass house LiuLiGongFang‘s latest collection of crystal-glass art sculptures, Metta Love and Compassion, draws from ancient Buddhist concepts and classical Chinese culture.

Designed by award-winning contemporary Chinese liuli artist Loretta Hui-shan Yang, the Metta Love and Compassion collectibles aim to showcase kindness and compassion. ”The work of sculpting Buddhist statues, for me, is more than just a creative process – it is a journey of understanding and inspiration and it is a show of love, care and concern for our world and our lives,” said Loretta Hui-shan Yang.

The design aesthetic of the Metta series plays on the very unique characteristics of liuli, embodying the interconnectedness that is a key precept in Buddhism. Concave and convex lenses are used throughout so that the same image appears refracted in a myriad of forms, to convey a sense of emphatic connectedness among beings.

Install a strategically placed liuli sculpture in your home , and the calming effect of watching light filter through crystal will soothe your frayed senses.
