Davidoff cigars were freshly rolled and cut by an artisan while Dom Pérignon flowed all evening for the cigar maker’s Caribbean cocktail reception to kick off the internationally renowned art fair on Thursday, 15 May.
The air was filled with the fragrant scent of fine tobacco and guests enjoyed a selection of grilled meats and caribbean rice, as well as a few cocktails made from the new Absolut Elyx.
During Art Basel, Davidoff VIPs are entitled to drinks and canapés at its lounge in the Collectors Lounge, along with complimentary cigars at the Davidoff outdoor lounge at the Waterfall Bar (at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong hotel) and at Duddell’s.
