Model in a figure-hugging number from Hong Kong designer Dorian Ho; on her hand, Glashutte Original’s Lady Serenade
Citibank hosted a cocktail for its ultra-affluent Ultima card members on September 11. Held at Audi’s new showroom in Tsim Shai Tsui, Kowloon, the joyuous occasion was well-attended by watch enthusiasts and car buffs, with Leonard Cheng, General Manager of Audi Hong Kong and Dieter Pachnar, Vice President of Sales at Glashutte Original jetting in as guests of honour. The event was organized by WhiteWave Media Group and sponsored by Scotch whisky brand The Glenlivet.
After formalities were exchanged, a private test drive of the Audi A8L was in order. Dubbed the brand’s flagship luxury sedan, the A8L is five inches longer than the standard A8. Equipped with a a 4.0L V8 engine, it delivers 400 horsepower when operating on a single turbocharger. The Quattro all-wheel drive has been calibrated to allow for slippery road conditions. The spacious cabin, decked out in top of the range leather upholstery, provides plenty of legroom.
A gaggle of Glashutte Original timepieces were also put on display, including the Glashutte Original Senator Diary for Men and Senator Observer for Ladies, Glashutte Original Panolnverse for Men and PanoMaticLunar for Ladies, Glashutte Original Senator Perpetual Calendar for Men and Lady Serenade for Ladies.
