The 16-piece collections of Roderic Wong, Soravit Kaewkamon and Ko Youngji, developed under the guidance of Douglas and Odile Benjamin, will also be shown to buyers at BLUEPRINT
The capsule collections developed by the three 2012 winners of the region-wide fashion design competition Audi Star Creation are set to hit the Audi Fashion Festival runway at the Tent@Marina Promenade on May 17.
Designers Roderic Wong, 28 (China), Ko Youngji, 32 (South Korea) and Soravit Kaewkamon, 24 (Thailand) have been developing their collections under the mentorship of Douglas and Odile Benjamin of leading fashion retailer F J Benjamin over the last year.
The opportunity to launch their own collections following a one-year internship with the company is part of their Audi Star Creation 2012 prize, which also includes S$10,000 in cash from Audi Singapore.
In response to strong consumer interest in previous years, the collections will also be available to local and international buyers at Asia Fashion Exchange’s (AFX) tradeshow, BLUEPRINT, on May 16 and 17.
