Friends of Tudor were treated to a glamorous soiree feting the Singapore launch of the Swiss manufacture’s latest timepieces, the Heritage Black Bay and Tudor Pelagos.

Held at the ION Orchard boutique, lithesome models at the cocktail reception demonstrated the sleek versatility of the brand’s major releases for this year, a year that Tudor has dedicated to the wide open sea itself.

An elegant synthesis of sporty vigor and technical virtuosity, the Heritage Black Bay and Pelagos timepieces exuded retro-chic style and function, and pay tribute to Tudor’s rich, intricate love for the water and its expertise in crafting some of the best divers’ timepieces in the market.

Guests also had the rare pleasure of viewing three vintage Tudor watches which were specially flown in for the occasion: the 1954 Tudor Oyster Submariner, 1969 TUDOR “Snowflake” Submariner and the 1980s Tudor Burgundy Bezel Submariner.

As for the 2012 iterations, the Heritage Black Bay is water-resistant to 200 metres, while the Tudor Pelagos is waterproof to a depth of 500 metres. Head over to Tudor’s website to find out more about the new releases and their tech specs.
