The Ladies Gondolo

Watch collectors’ hearts may skip a beat with this piece of good news: powerhouses Patek Philippe and Tiffany & Co. have jointly released limited edition timepieces for the former’s fifth year anniversary at Tiffany, New York. The Patek Philippe store, nestled within Tiffany & Co flagship New York boutique, will be showcasing jointly developed men’s and ladies’ wristwatches, double-signed with both manufactures’ names.

Ladies first. The Gondolo timepiece’s design takes its cues from Art Deco, a period which Tiffany is also fond of, and features a tonneau-shaped curved case in 18ct white gold, embellished with 163 brilliant-cut diamonds for a total of 0.63ct. Choose between a lovely sunburst dial with hand-painted white Roman numerals on a matching midnight blue satin strap, or a mother-of-pearl dial with powdered gold Roman numerals with a taupe cream satin strap. Just 50 pieces of the Gondolo, with 25 of each dial version, will be released on the market.

The Men’s Annual Calendar Calibre 324 S QA LU 24H

Meanwhile, the Men’s Annual Calendar in 18 ct white gold, also created for the boutique’s anniversary, features day, date, and month in apertures, moon phases and 24-hour indication, all on a handsome black dial and a matte black alligator strap. The black dial is double-signed by Patek Philippe and Tiffany & Co. Turn the watch over to admire the sapphire-crystal case back, engraved with the commemorative words “Patek Philippe – A Shared Vision – 2008-2013 – Tiffany & Co.” Hundred pieces of the men’s model will be available.

Both models are now available at Tiffany’s Patek Philippe boutique.
