In Hong Kong as in Singapore, Officine Panerai showed off its manifattura or manufacture status to great fanfare with the Panerai Manifattura Collection Exhibition.
Today, Panerai has matched its huge following with a capacity and ability that few other brands have: the ability to produce its watches with its own know-how and resources. The weeklong exhibition at The Atrium, The Landmark, Hong Kong was meant to highlight this rare quality and showcase the brand’s powerful history.
This was ably reinforced by the presence of a watchmaker from the manufacture who demonstrated his fascinating skills live during the exhibition.
For Panerai enthusiasts and watch lovers in general, this was a highlight, along with the display of all eight of the brand’s mechanical movements, from calibres P.2002, P.2003, P.2004 and P.2005 to calibres P.9000, P.9001 and P.9002.
