Canadian designer Mikhael Kale is inspired by the work of Nan Goldin’s photographs from the late 1970’s and early 1980’s. Whether [the subjects] are hopeless addicts or vulnerable mothers they are ethereally connected by Goldin’s ability to expose their emotion and had to dig deeper with this notion subsequently experimenting with knit ware.
Contrasting the modern and vintage, Kale offers an outing of sleek silhouettes and knitwear separates modeled by Delphie Laforest and photographed by Felix Wong.
