The folks who revolutionized musical theatre with slicked-back quiffs, larger-than-life beehives and foot-tapping tunes are coming to town, so take a trip back to the good ol’ days as Marina Bay Sands’ MasterCard Theatres injects a retro spin cum 25 April.
Grease centres in and around fictitious Rydell High, and follows ten working-class teenagers in 1959 as they experience the intricacies of love, friendship and rebellion. The story revolves around the relationship between “bad boy” Danny Zuko, who believes he is the coolest of cool and “girl next door” Sandy.
Decked with dazzling costumes and liberal doses of electrifying dance moves, sing and jive along to unforgettable hits like Summer Nights, Hopelessly Devoted To You, and You’re The One That I Want. This multi-million dollar production is going be one spectacular feast for the senses!
