Contrasts between matt and shiny textures are most evident in the latest DiorChromic sunglasses by Christian Dior. The sunglasses are an exploration of a new architecture, inspired by the vibrant energy of a futuristic city. For those of you who may recognize the DiorChromic sunglasses, it’s probably because they were featured during the Esprit Dior Tokyo Fashion Show 2015.
The lady-like shape of the sunglasses is adorned with modern metallic details, for a novel architectural look. The front is structured by an ultra-thin metal sheet doubled by a contrasting metal lens contour and echoes the predominant paillette theme. The new dedicated graphic lenses, with their top mirrored part and transparent lower part, further project a feeling or modernity.
