Announced earlier today, Herbert Rafael Sim, officially joined top cryptocurrency and blockchain asset exchange Huobi Group as Public Relations Director. Herbert is also the founder of Crypto Chain University, the oldest institution for compilation of Crypto and Blockchain research in the world, established in 2010; he is also the founder of WardrobeTrendsFashion, a high fashion and luxury online magazine, founded in 2009.
Huobi Group was founded in 2013. After four years of steady operation, the Group has become a leading global digital asset financial service provider in terms of technology platform, product lines, risk control system, operation and customer service. Huobi Group has served millions of customers from over 130 countries and regions in the world, and now holds trading business and operation center in Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, etc.
Herbert comes with years of cryptocurrency and blockchain experience, dating back to 2010, when he first established Crypto Chain University, as well as the University’s highest honors “Ordre des Arts et des Technologies”, with the purpose of recognizing significant contributions to the technological arts, or the propagation of these fields. Herbert also owns TheBitcoinMan.com and the handle of @TheBitcoinMan on Instagram and the ‘The Bitcoin Man‘ page on Facebook as well, established in June 2016.
Herbert also comes with years of entrepreneur experience, as the founder of WardrobeTrendsFashion. Also known by its abbreviation of WTF, the publication won the most coveted title of ‘Best Lifestyle Website’ GOLD award at 2015 Asian Digital Media Awards, jointly presented by the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) and Google. WTF also won double GOLD awards at 2016 Asia-Pacific Stevie® Awards for Innovation in News Websites and Entertainment Websites. WTF also went onto to win a Gold and Silver Stevie® Awards at the 2017 International Business Awards, presented at Barcelona, Spain.
Herbert has a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies, from Oklahoma City University, USA; and a Master of Business Administration, University of Wolverhampton, UK.
