When folks hear “Bottega Veneta” they immediately think of expert craftsmanship, extraordinary leather goods of the highest quality and of course the house’s signature intrecciato woven leather. Starting this year, we can add the Bottega Veneta Pour Homme, to the list of things that is synonymous with the brand.
The Italian company has bottled the essence of the Bottega Veneta man, in its signature masculine fragrance. The intriguing and understated scent has distinctive notes of Labdanum, Fir Balsam and Bergamot that blend into sensuous leathery signature. The core of the fragrance is distilled from a resin extracted from the Cistus plant that can only be collected between May and August, when it is at its most viscous. Pretty impressive seeing as how Bottega Veneta Pour Homme is the maison’s first fragrance for men.
We think it is also worth mentioning that the bottle is made from the same tinted and engraved Murano glass as Bottega Veneta’s carafes for wine and oil.
