Veuve Clicquot kicked off the summer with their Yellow Summer Party on May 10 where surfboards, cabanas, tropical flowers and beach umbrellas lined the Grand Hyatt Poolside. Guests traded their shoes for Veuve Clicquot sandals, donned orange glasses and straw hats, and sipped on Veuve Clicquot as they watched the sun set over Hong Kong’s iconic skyline, the only reminder that they weren’t at the beach.
Canadian artist Peter Yuill, well-known in Hong Kong for his ink work on Chinese rice paper, performed a piece of live art along the course of the evening, culminating in a special piece of artwork on a Veuve Clicquot surfboard. Professional wakeskaters added another splash of summer to the party when they did a live demonstration in the pool. Benefit Cosmetics teamed up with Veuve Clicquot so that guests could enjoy two Benefit Cosmetics cabanas, where their summer collection was debuted and beauty experts pampered guests.
This is the first of many Veuve Clicquot parties lined up for the rest of the summer – so really, who needs a resort vacation when the beach can come to us?
