This week Taipei 101 shook hands with the first guests of their new exclusive VIP club. The qualification requirement? Spend NT$1.01 million ($44,241) in a single day.
As a member you’ll have access to a VIP-only parking lot and a key to a private elevator that will take you straight up to the club – on the 6th floor of the world’s second tallest building.
Awaiting your arrival you’ll find a selection of puddings to massage your sweet tooth; a sound system to blow your ears as well as your mind worth NT$6 million; private dressing rooms; Chanel spa products; and best of all a private showroom where the latest luxury products will be unveiled in front of your eyes.
The club will ultimately welcome 1,000 members, but with 800 spaces already hovered up you’ll have to hurry. Those 800 faithful were welcomed after splashing NT$500,000 during a private watch event last September, since when the minimum spend has been pushed up to NT$1.01 million.
The mall in Taipei 101 is expected to generate NT$1 billion from the 1,000 members.
