Studio Italia Design, the leading designer and producer of contemporary lighting fixtures for high-end architectural and designer markets has had its Nostalgia collection of pendants announced as a finalist in the Lighting Category for a Pinnacle Award. The Pinnacle Awards were created in April 1995 by the ASFD (American Society of Furniture Designers) board of directors to promote design quality and encourage the recognition of furniture and lighting designers within the retail home furnishings industry. This year marks the award’s 20th anniversary. The jury of 12 judges chose products in 15 categories. The Awards gala will be held Monday, October 19, 2015 in the IHFC Ballroom in High Point, North Carolina during Fall Market.
“We are so honored to have been chosen as a finalist…Knowing that our design aesthetic resonates with this important group means everything to us.” said David Weisinger, president of Studio Italia Design USA.
Nostalgia, designed by award-winning designer Dima Loginoff, marries its retro shape with LED technology to provide a rich pendant collection. The sizes and shapes of the hand-blown glass differ slightly and are offered in four colors: crystal, chrome, gold and rose gold.
