The most prestigious address in Singapore for jet-setters: 29 Tanglin Road, the location of the St. Regis Singapore, which has just been voted “#1 Luxury Hotel in Singapore” for 2012 by independent reviewers at noted travel site TripAdvisor.
The TripAdvisor Travelers Choice 2012 is the review site’s 10th annual award. Commenting on the coup, Ananda Arawwawela, Managing Director of The St. Regis Singapore, said: “This outstanding recognition and endorsement from our guests, who independently affirm our reputation for being the city’s leading luxury hotel in Singapore, is especially rewarding for us.”
“We view TripAdvisor as a vital avenue to garner feedback, and it is increasingly important to acknowledge and engage our guests on platforms such as TripAdvisor,” Ananda Arawwawela added.
Not the only accolade the fine hotel has garnered since its 2008 opening, other recent garlands include recognition for the ‘Best Hotel Experience’ at the coveted industry showcase, the Singapore Tourism Board’s Singapore Experience Awards 2011, held in October last year.
