If you’re a Singaporean who enjoys Martell V.S.O.P cognac, you may have noticed that the bottle of your familiar drink has received a designer update. To reward local consumers for their loyalty to the brand, Pernod Ricard has chosen Singapore to be the global launch pad for the new Martell V.S.O.P bottle packaging this month.
The new bottle design of Martell’s V.S.O.P, or Very Superior Old Pale, is a svelte, contemporary update, while retaining iconic elements like the signature rounded arched shoulders. The V.S.O.P labeling is sleeker and comes in an auspicious red and gold palette. The packaging echoes the festive label, with a shimmering metallic background, golden top and an embossed seal on the front.
The cognac within, of course, remains the same, with its rich, golden amber shade and a smooth, fruity nose and long, complex finish.
Commenting on the revamped bottle, Mr Paul-Robert Bouhier, Managing Director of Pernod Ricard Singapore, said: “We are excited that Singapore is the global launch pad for this new packaging.
