Home to iconic American artist Shepard Fairey, this 1929 Mediterranean home in Los Angeles, California is up for sale. According to the Sotheby’s International Realty, the home “tells a story; a language of love and Hope”, and is listed at US$1.82 million.

If you’re not sure know who Shepard Fairey is, you might probably be more familiar with his work. The street artist is most notable for his streetwear brand, OBEY, and for Barack Obama’s iconic “Hope” poster during his 2008 U.S. presidential election.

With original details, thick archways, hand applied plaster and high-beamed ceilings in the living room, the 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath Mediterranean home boasts a perfect atmosphere for music and art.

Homely dine-in kitchen features a lovely hand-painted banquette, and a rustic, old-fashioned vibe that fills the diner with nostalgia. The fourth bedroom functions as a guest room or office, whichever you prefer, on its own floor. It also has a separate entrance and shares a patio with a hidden area which can double up as a separate, exclusive space where you can let your creative juices flow in an uninterrupted stretch.
