Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen appear on their own unique front pages for allure‘s December issue, complete with different colored cover lines!
Four years ago they shared the cover of Allure, but this time around the twins got to enjoy separate versions!
After posing separately, the 27-year-old sisters and fashion moguls get together for the Peter Lindbergh-lensed spread, exclusively wearing pieces from The Row.
Expressing frustration over how they’re still being asked about their involvement in fashion, Mary-Kate said:
“We still get the question. The question of: ‘So do you like designing?’ ‘How involved are you?’ It’s not like you wake up one day and have a huge company with four or five different companies within the companies.”
The two also talk about their new fragrances for the Elizabeth and James brand, saying:
“We wanted it to be very pure and happy and intimate and sensual.”
While Mary-Kate recalled her biggest hair-related faux pas, saying:
“Extensions. I woke up one day and I said, ‘You know, I don’t want to wear a bikini top this summer, so I guess I’ll get hair that covers my breasts.’ And it did!”
