The Luxury Network Singapore, recently hosted a ladies only “styling afternoon” at the Garibaldi Restaurant and Bar’s cosy VIP private room. On June 24, the guests gathered for an afternoon of styling and fashion from personal stylist Carla Snajder, of CARLA Personal Styling. While enjoying an exquisite array of tea-time snacks prepared by the Garibaldi kitchen, the ladies got to pick up styling tips tip from each other and Carla.
The event saw Carla pulling looks that would have brought her guests through the day and even more! Ranging from social occasions, to cocktail events, from monotonous work wear to stylish casual wear – each ensemble was coordinated by Carla on the spot. The image consultant personally handpicked all the apparel, shoes, bags and accessories for the session. She curated the pieces from labels like Porsche Design, Fuchsia Lane, etc.
In line with Spring/Summer, Carla also spoke to the guests about some of the latest trends such as pairing print on print and working with different textures. She emphasized on wearing clothes that flatter the body without just blindly following trends. “Your clothing should be purposeful. Each accessory has a purpose,” Carla stressed, reminding the ladies to make their clothes work for them and not the other way round.
The event also gave participating member-brands an opportunity to showcase their products and services to prospective high-net worth clients.
