Hublot has teamed up with Depeche Mode, one of the world’s greatest bands to create 12 one-off versions of their Big Bang watch. They will be auctioned online over the next two and a half weeks.
Made from sound-blasted black ceramic bezel and sapphire crystal back, the watches feature six H-shaped black PVD screws and the band’s album artwork which is placed between 3 and 9 o’clock.
With a power reserve of 42 hours, they also come with a matching black alligator rubber strap.
Estimate pricing is placed at CHF 35,000, but each of the 12 box sets contain more than a watch. You’ll find a deluxe vinyl version of the album, a USB key containing a digital edition of the album, a documentary about the making of the album, an original album artwork print and a framed gold CD, along with a photograph signed by all members of the group who contributed to the album, including Vince Clarke and Alan Wilder.
You can access the auction through the official websites of Hublot, Depeche Mode, the Teenage Cancer Trust as well as Patrizzi & Co. and Liveauctioneers.com who are running the auction together.
All proceeds will be donated to a very worthy cause – the Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT).
