Less than two month after his womenswear debut for the brand, new Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele has unveiled his first campaign for Italian fashion house.
The pre-fall 2015 season was shot by Glen Luchford and features models Alexandra Elizabeth Ljadov and Julia Hafstrom. It is certainly a change from the super glam Gucci advertisements under Frida Giannini. The new direction channels a normcore look with minimal styling and makeup. Whether this new direction will translate into higher sales–time will tell.
