G.H. MUMM recently hosted an exclusive dinner at The White Rabbit to commemorate the launch of its new Champagne Protocoles campaign. Here’s the interesting thing: exactly 100 guests were invited. They were encouraged to discover the fun formality and modern rituals of enjoying champagne. This experience was presented to the 100 guests, through the 12 chapters of Champagne Protocoles de G.H. MUMM, consisting of 100 great tips.
Actor, comedian and radio DJ, Hossan Leong, presented a theatrical performance inspired by the Champagne Protocoles de G.H.MUMM. Hossan and his team of actors, highlighted the key protocols in enjoying champagne to the guests in a light-hearted and fun way. Some of the protocols presented were the ideal temperature to serve, the gentlemanly way to dislodge the cork from the bottle, the correct way to hold the champagne bottle while serving, and the art of sabrage.
As another key protocol in enjoying champagne is gastronomy, the guests were treated to a four-course champagne pairing dinner prepared by Chef Benjamin Tan and his team. The invitees indulged in some of G.H.MUMM’s champagnes, including the signature Cordon Rouge, Le Rose, Millesime 2004, and the rare cuvee Blanc de Blancs.
