Five Hong Kong hotels have been recognised with top honours (five stars) in the Forbes Travel Guide 2011.

In its lifetime spanning over 50 years the guide has become a prestigious gauge of quality and the Island Shangri-La (below) has been awarded five stars for the first time.

Shane O’Flaherty, President and CEO of Forbes Travel Guide, said, “Hong Kong is an international financial hub for business travelers and a top destination for leisure travelers who seek the highest quality in hotels and restaurants.”
