Singapore’s only private club, FILTER Members’ Club, has officially launched with over 400 invited guests turning up to party. The launch party was supported by Belvedere Vodka and Moët & Chandon. Local celebrities and party elites showed up in full force to start their festive partying.

As part of the official opening and in the festive spirit of giving, a fund-raiser was organized to benefit under-privileged children. Invited guests donated more than $8,000 for Chen Su Lan Methodist Children’s Home through donations collected at the door. The party hosted Special Guest DVJ Junior (Spark, Taipei) who helmed the decks and rocked the dance floor till 4am.

Within a span of three months, FILTER Members’ Club has acquired a loyal following.

FILTER has played host to some of the region’s best DJs such as DJ Dim Sum from Privé Hong Kong and Mitomi Tokoto of Cyberjapan as well as Justin Michael and Beatbreaker from the US. Each of these nights saw more than 300 clubbers partying together. The club caters to a more mature market, following in a similar vein to regional member oriented venues in Hong Kong (Volar and Prive) and Taipei (Primo).

Entry is generally by guestlist and discretion is key at FILTER. The sound on Fridays will be Hip-Hop and Old School (HUSH Fridays) and Mashup on Saturdays (Bangers & Mash Saturdays). FILTER’s calendar is jam-packed with parties in 2011 and clubbers can get set to party up close and personal with celebrity DJ Vice in March.

FILTER is located at 1 Nanson Road, beside Gallery Hotel.
FILTER is opened on Fridays from 10pm to 3am and Saturdays from 10pm to 4am.
Entry by guest list and invitation only, memberships are not for sale and they are by referral only.
Cover charge entry dependent upon capacity.
