Bulgari recently introduced the new addition to its Save The Children jewelry collection at its Takashimaya boutique in Singapore. During the unveiling of the new black ceramic and silver pendant, Michel Anglade, the Campaigns and Advocacy Director for Save the Children in Asia, shared updates on the foundation’s collaborative works with Bulgari in the region. Local celebrity supporters Fann Wong and Yeo Yann Yann were in attendance to show their support for the cause.
“Being a mum to be, when Bulgari shared that they were launching a new jewel to support Save the Children’s life-saving interventions for newborns, I was excited to be part of the project. Knowing that every year over a million babies die on the first day of their life, shocked me to the core. It is reassuring to know a great brand like Bulgari has stepped up to fund such a great cause,” added actress Fann Wong.
This year, proceeds from the sale of the black ceramic and silver pendant – inspired by the brand’s iconic B.zero1 line – will go toward saving 50,000 newborn children and their mothers through life-saving healthcare services in poor, conflict-affected countries and in emergency situations.
Guests at the event were also privy to a photo exhibition in the Takashimaya atrium where they shared in the beautiful experiences of world renowned celebrities’ field trips. Open to public, the exhibition continues through to June 22.
