Chinking blue-tinged cocktails and appreciating art at the same time in a cozy parlor – that was the intimate party atmosphere at the closing night of Bombay Sapphire‘s inaugural Blue Room, a space dedicated to showcasing the trippiest, most creative installation pieces from Singapore-based artists.
Curated by Kult3D, the art exhibition segment saw a total of nine artworks displayed at the dbl O Art Space. The Bombay Sapphire-commissioned artists worked with the only brief being they had to be inspired by the theme ‘Infused with Imagination’ – a nod to the famous gin’s ten botanical infusions.
The featured designers and collectives were a talented motley bunch of indie artists such as Creative Toolbox, Mojoko+SHANG, Kristal Melson, and Tara Thadani, with a range of styles including art installations, digital prints and mixed media.
Also making its Singapore debut at the party was the beautifully crafted 250th Anniversary Limited Edition Crystal Bottle, which was unveiled in style to the appreciative revelers.
Of course, a Bombay Sapphire social event would have to include an assortment of delicious drinks. Visitors to the Blue Room were spoilt for choice when it came to slaking their thirst, with mixologists serving signature Bombay Sapphire cocktails such as the Bombay Gin & T and spirited mixes concocted by international designers the likes of Tom Dixon and Karim Rashid.
