To usher in celebrations for InterContinental Hong Kong’s 10th anniversary, Absolut Vodka teamed up with veteran mixologist Ben Davidson to launch nine Hong Kong-themed cocktails at the hotel’s Lobby Lounge on September 23, 2011.
Davidson, who headlines the Attic Bar at ArtHouse Hotel in Australia, is known for his fun-filled mixes and inventive use of ingredients. Taking inspiration from the Kowloon Peninsula – which literally translates into ‘Nine Dragons’ in Chinese – while simultaneously paying homage to Kowloon’s eight peaks – the cocktails are namedPearl Dragon, Ruby Dragon, Fire Dragon, Bamboo Dragon, Silver Dragon, Jade Dragon, Onyx Dragon, Golden Dragon and Emperor Dragon – the new cocktail menu is a tantalizing mix of silky spirits and fresh ingredients.
Ranging from HKD 125 to HKD 215 per cocktail, the Nine Dragon cocktail menu will be available at the InterContinental Lobby Lounge from October 3.
