Isabeli Fontana, Doutzen Kroes and Natasha Poly star in Balmain’s spring-summer 2017 campaign
Balmain turns up the glam effect for its spring-summer 2017 campaign. Starring top models Isabeli Fontana, Natasha Poly and Doutzen Kroes, the images were captured on a deserted California highway by Steven Klein.
The colorful and fluid shapes stand out as the models walk the desert landscape with speakers in the backdrop. The trio wear sheer tops, loose-fitting trousers as well as strong shoulders. Male models Jon Kortajarena and Gabriel Aubry also join the advertisements.
Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing talks about the inspiration behind the spring campaign. “We capture moments of a mysterious journey of a diverse cast of models, a nomadic Balmain army forcefully moving through an oneiric landscape—an environment which, like the collection itself, has been stripped back to the essential.”
