Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas is opening seven new resorts in 2011, a 50 percent growth of its hotel portfolio.
The new resorts will be located in a variety of locations, namely China, the Maldives, Bali, Oman and the UAE.
One of the two Chinese resorts set to open is the Anantara Sanya Resort & Spa which is located on the southernmost point of Hainan Island. The property will comprise 128 guestrooms and 20 pool villas flanked by two beaches, Xiaodonghai Bay and Luhuitou Bay.
The other Chinese destination in the offing is the Anantara Xishuangbanna Resort & Spa. Based in the Hengduan Mountains in Yunnan province, the resort is set on the banks of the Luosuo River and will feature 103 guestrooms with Dai characteristics.
Also opening is the Anantara Kihavah Villas, Maldives which will boast 78 over-water and beach suites with private infinity pools, high ceilings, timber interiors and terrazzo floors.
Completing Asia’s new arrivals is the Anantara Uluwatu Resort & Spa in Bali. Perched on a limestone cliff on Bali’s south-western tip, the resort will feature 77 suites and three dining options.
