America’s Top 50 Most Environmentally-Responsible Colleges, 2016

The College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor has been named as the most environmentally-responsible college in the U.S., according to a ranking released by the Princeton Review’s 2016 Guide to 361 Green Institutions, College of Environmental Science and Forestry, Syracuse, NY ranked No. 2 on the list.

The education services company profiles institutions based on a survey of 640 four-year colleges to measure the institution’s commitment to the environment and to sustainability. The survey, conducted in 2015-16 included questions on course offerings, campus infrastructure, activities, and career preparation.
