Nobody does luxury like the French. Think of the opulence of Versailles, the easy chic of Hermès and Rive Gauche glamour. Case in point: Air France’s La Premiere cabins, which prove that the plush way to travel is indeed, French.
Over the weekend, the airline held an exhibition in New York at Center 548 to showcase its La Premiere cabins and new Premium Economy class cabin, which come with 40% more space than regular economy class cabins. Visitors could experience the luxurious revamped cabins on-site that featured the lie-flat beds and extra storage, as well as the privacy and quality service of the cabin class. The airline also immersed visitors in the French style of living with a slew of activities at the exhibition that included free French lessons, wine tastings, and free Ladurée macarons, champagne and ice cream.
The La Premiere suite cabin launches on intercontinental flights in September 2014.
