‘Beautiful’ would not be the word to describe the 1920s German Light Bulb Voltage Tester Bar. ‘Handsome’ probably does not cut it either. We figure the best term to use would be ‘masculine’. The steampunk-like contraption is fashioned from iron and weighs a staggering 265 pounds.

The folks at Restoration Hardware were inspired by an original light bulb voltage tester that was salvaged from a factory in Germany. The re-imagined sphere opens up to reveal an interior featuring three shelves, three stemware racks and five slots for wine bottles. There is enough space in this thing to store all of your alcohol needs (except for beer).

Surely this US$1995 masculine-looking bar would make an awesome addition to any bachelor pad or man cave. If you are worried that there isn’t enough space in one to keep your entire collection of bar stuff, don’t worry. You can just get two of them.

Are we the only ones who feel that it looks similar to the Death Star from Star Wars?
