The alluring & androgynous Zambesi collection at the New Zealand Fashion Week 2013 was packed full of sophistication and swagger, with praise for best showmanship delivered through an exposed backstage, runway concept.
Structured styles with compliments of draping accents in black dominated the runway, however there was a fresh mix of light blue, camel, grey, greens and a lovely print in a sheer red and pink fabric.
Combining exquisitely tailored coats & suit jackets with contrasting sleeves, winter wools, cocooned hemmed coats, and cropped trousers, the collection sported lots of leather paneling, and high-shine materials with a rebellious and futuristic edge.
Exuding an air confidence & attitude throughout the whole collection, Zambesi stayed true to it’s bold & sharp esthetic of clean cuts and impeccability tailored looks.
