Designed by Israeli industrial designer Ron Arad, the curvaceous Voido Rocking Chair is now available at Magis Design Hong Kong.
Ron Arad, whose works have been featured in the Pompidou, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Victoria & Albert Museum, has a penchant for flexibility and curves – a sentiment clearly expressed in the Voido Rocking Chair. Crafted from rotational-moulded polyethylene, Voido is evocative of a favourite childhood treat, a slightly warped marshmallow: a welcoming alternative to the classic stiff-backed rocking chair indeed.
