Tony Parker Buys Kempinski Residence In Geneva

NBA San Antonio Spurs basketball star Tony Parker has bought an apartment in the “Du Parc Kempinski Private Residences” above Lake Geneva, Switzerland.

Originally built in 1906 when it was used as a Grand Hotel, the property is currently being transformed into 24 high-end apartments.

Parker said: “I immediately fell in love with Du Parc because it is a building full of charm and history and has the most astonishing view that I have ever seen. It is near to the international city of Geneva and so the ideal combination of peaceful countryside and city life that I look for my holidays.”

The interior design is the work of BBG-BBGM (famous for W Hotels) while the wine cellars and a tasting room are managed by Quintessentially Wine.

Varying from two-bedroom, 200 square metes units to six-bedroom, 690 square metres options; they will be ready for occupancy in 2012.
