Warren Buffet’s annual lunch auction closed at a record $2.63 million on Friday at 10:30pm New York time.
The 11th fundraiser of its kind, the auction handsomely beat the previous top bid of 2008 when hedge-fund manager Zhao Danyang (from Hong Kong) paid $2.11 million.
