At the heart of France’s wine capital, overlooking the historic central square of the Place de la Comédie and the iconic Grand Théâtre, the Grand Hotel de Bordeaux has reopened its doors as the Regent Grand Hotel, Bordeaux.
Only the third Regent Hotel to open its doors in Europe, it is fitting that the five-star luxury hotel should make its mark in one of the city’s most celebrated landmarks.
Designed by French interior decorator Jacques Garcia, the building’s neo-classical architecture from the 18th and 19th century, as well as the rich heritage of the cultural landmarks in the Golden Triangle have come to influence the design of the 150 rooms in the hotel, with 18th century bourgeois style set against a theatrical backdrop.
Each of these rooms comes with a Loewe television system exclusive to the Regent Grand Hotel, Bordeaux. This set includes 1,300 television channels, 700 radio stations, satellite and TNT networks, connections for iPods and iPhones, as well as DVD players and gaming consoles.
Guests can also enjoy the culinary creations at the hotel’s Brasserie l’Europe and l’Orangerie restaurant topped off with drinks at the Victor Bar. Finally, a trip to the hotel’s Fashion Avenue, a luxury shopping arcade housing the most prestigious names in prêt-à-porter fashion and jewelry, completes the experience.
