Five years since it shut it doors, the Picasso museum in Paris, has reopened again. Housed in a 17th-century baroque mansion in Paris’ historic Marais quarter, the museum has been extensively modernised and is more than twice its previous size.

It boasts the world’s largest and most extensive collection of Picasso’s works, with around 5,000 paintings, drawings, sculptures, ceramics, photographs and documents. Costs, however, stand at €22 million over-budget due to an increase in the scope of the works.
